Alana De La Garza was born in 1976 to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mother. She is a well-known actress on television. In the early 2000s the small part she played was appearing on JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she got her first role in a major series on the short-lived drama The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano, alongside a number of top TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi, and Mitch Pilegge. Her most memorable character was on Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. The character later re-entered the short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. The character of De La Garza was recognized with several nominations which included Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She has also been awarded ALMA Award nods. In 2008, De La Garza was awarded the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza landed a regular role on CSI Miami a short time later. She was cast as Marisol Delko as the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. Her most recent appearance on TV was on Dr. Lena Solis on NBC's mildly dark comedy Do No Harm. After a couple of episodes the show ended up being cancelled.
