Alana De La Garza was born in 1976 to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mother. She is a well-known actress on television. In 2008, De La Garza was awarded the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza landed a regular role on CSI Miami a short time later. She was cast as Marisol Delko as the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. Her most recent appearance on TV was on Dr. Lena Solis on NBC's mildly dark comedy Do No Harm. After a couple of episodes the show ended up being cancelled.
